Information we may collect from you:
We may collect and process the following data about you:
- If you have shopped with us, your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card details, delivery address(es) for your orders and the password information associated with your account, as well as details of your product selections.
- If you have requested a catalogue, entered a competition or completed feedback, your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- If you have asked to receive our email newsletters, your name, address, telephone number and email address only.
- Where you are on the internet (e.g. the URL you came from and the way in which you navigate the site, and the resources that you access.)
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
How we use the information:
We use information held about you in the following ways:
- For operational purposes; for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases.
- To tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements.
- To improve your customer experience.
- Any successor to James Galt may use your information on the same basis.
- To keep you up to date with James Galt, for example by mailing new catalogues and sending you emails as appropriate.
- In the case of calls and emails, for the purposes of quality control and training.
If you enter a competition with James Galt, we may pass on your name, address and email to the promotional partner. Our specific terms and conditions in relation to each competition will set out further details of this.
